The Desire to Make Change – often starts with wanting to ‘look good’
The desire to make a change comes at a different time for everyone and is a powerful motivator especially when it's about our physical appearance. While the reasons for wanting to make a change for our health may vary, one common thread is the desire to look good. Whether you want to impress others or just feel better about yourself, the way you look can have a profound impact on your sense of self-worth and confidence.
So how do we begin this change?
We make goals & we achieve goals!
Setting achievable goals is step one in making your change. Start with small, realistic goals that you can accomplish. Setting these smaller goals and achieving them will help you keep your momentum while on your fitness journey! It’s one of the things I do with ALL of my clients – we create phased goals - starting with smaller ones and building up.
PLAN PLAN PLAN.
Create a plan!!
You can't just come at this willy nilly, you need to have a plan of action. Now by plan I don't mean you have to create your own fitness and nutrition plan... I mean you need a plan of how you're going to make the change.
Are you joining a gym and going at it alone or with one of their personal trainers?
Are you seeking out an online program you can do from your home?
Are you joining a fitness community either online or in person with an instructor who can help you stay motivated, correct your form, give advice, and keep you accountable? (Hey, that's me!)
Whatever you decide is a fit for you will be great, but you have to make that plan.
Consistency is KEY.
Stay consistent, when it comes to making changes to your physical health make sure to stick to your plan and track your progress. Nothing happens overnight and seeing a big change will take time but if you track your progress and stay consistent you will see results and feel them too. I host over 10 classes per week - and this helps current clients maintain their goals.

CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!
Most importantly, celebrate your successes. Recognize and celebrate your progress, no matter how small, any progress is good progress. This will help you stay motivated and continue working towards your goals.
While the desire to make change may start with wanting to look good, it is important to remember that true change goes beyond just appearances. It requires a deeper commitment to personal growth, self-care, and a willingness to challenge ourselves to be better.
